Martini Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon exhibits a deep garnet, color with intense aromas of cedary oak, currents and black cherries. Concentrated flavors of ripe plums, chocolate and tobacco marry perfectly with the oak nuances. A well structured wine that is balanced with firm, velvety tannins that culminate in a long, elegant finish.

Deep ruby in color, with concentrated jammy fruit aromas of black berry and cassis. The wine has a big, rich, soft, albeit slightly chalky mouthfeel, with medium full body and a long vanillin flavored finish.

"The 2002 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate, one of the most powerful Cabernets the Barretts have made, is reminiscent of the profound 1987. A blend of 99% Cabernet Sauvignon and 1% Cabernet Franc, it tips the scales at 14.3% alcohol. The aroma has ripe blackberry and cassis fruits, with nuances of toast and plum jam. The bouquet features complexities of cedar, vanilla, hints of toasty oak with tobacco and licorice. The 2003 Napa Cabernet blend is 86% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Cabernet Franc, and 4% Petite Verdot. The Oakville Cabernet imparts structure and concentration to the blend while the Cabernet Franc from our Pickett Road Vineyard gives the wine length, finesse and a polished supple texture.<p>Aroma:<br>Ripe bing cherry, blueberry and deep black plum fruits. Floral with violets and lavender laced with spicy oak, hints of cocoa, caramel and sweet expensive leather.<p>Palate<br>Sweet, juicy upfront ripe cherry and plum fruit. Soft supple texture. This 2003 Merlot has a purple-black center, surrounded by a garnet color along the perimeter. With complex black fruit, black olive, dried herb and cassis aromas, this full bodied, smooth wine has flavors of spice, licorice, blackberry and dark plum. Acomplex yet approachable Merlot, this wine showcases a long, lingering finish and is an excellent example of Clos Du Val’s classic style.

Our Robert Mondavi Winery Cabernet Sauvignon has deep, expressive aromas and flavors of berry and black currant with nuances of mocha, violets and spice. The fruit envelops an elegant structure with firm, velvety tannins and excellent length. The wine’s personality comes from the soils and climates of vineyards located in the geographic center of Napa Valley. Fermentation with both native and cultured yeast strains gives layers of nuance to the wine, and extended skin contact intensifies varietal complexity and softens tannins. We aged the wine in French oak château barrels and bottled it without filtration to capture the full flavor profile and lush texture. <p>We selected the majority of the grapes from the center of Napa Valley, a region well known for producing intensely flavored Cabernet family grape varieties. The balance of sunny days and cool, foggy nights here is perfect for developing rich, complex flavors and velvety tannins in Cabernet Sauvignon. A range of deep, alluvial soils to lean volcanic ones contributes to the diverse flavors in this wine,. We chose 40% of the grapes from the Oakville American Viticultural Area (AVA) including 24% from Robert Mondavi’s historic To Kalon Vineyard. We sourced the balance of the grapes primarily from vineyards in Rutherford and Stags Leap District AVAs.
